The Best All Inclusive Vacation I Have Ever Taken

I recently got married, and my wife and I were lucky enough to get to go to Playa Mujeres, Mexico for our honeymoon. Playa Mujeres is right by Cancun, and the resort we were at was a relatively new one called Excellence Playa Mujeres. This is an all inclusive resort for adults only, and it was amazing!

The price tag on this resort was pretty expensive when you compare to other resorts, but the online reviews on it were very good and the list of features of this resort made up our minds. Excellence has eight restaurants, an American restaurant, a Mexican restaurant, a Japanese restaurant, an Italian restaurant, a Mediterranean restaurant, a French restaurant, a lobster house, and another restaurant that changes it’s menu every few days. For the most part all of the food was great. I think our only complaint was that the servings were rather small, but being that this was an all inclusive resort, we could just order more food and it wouldn’t cost us any more money.

Another thing that was great about this resort was that you could order room service 24 hours a day. The service was always amazing, and very quick. There were several bars placed through out the resort where you could order alcoholic drinks and non-alcoholic drinks. There smoothies were very good to drink for breakfast. Also, if you were laying out by the pool, or even on the beach there were servers that would take your order and have your drink right out to you.

There were several pools throughout the resort all of which were the perfect temperature. There was a spa that we never went to, but we heard that it was amazing. The rooms were great too, they each had their own hot tub that opened up to the outside. There was a flat screen television with plenty of channels to choose from. Also, there was a fridge in the room that was fully stocked with beer, soda, lemonade, water and snacks.

Although I like kids, one of the best features about this resort was the fact that no children were allowed. It made it so much more relaxing and quiet, this is what a vacation should be. There are plenty of vacations to choose from where kids are allowed, so if you want to bring your children it shouldn’t be hard to find an alternative, but if you just want to get away from all of the distractions that kids present, this is the place to go.
